Summer School of Marine Biology – May 2019
Summer School of Marine Biology, with the sole object of studying the seahorses of Stratoni, will be held from 3 to 10 May 2019 in Stratoni, Chalkidiki.
There are 17 enrolled people in the Summer School, including the institute’s staff.
The scientific responsibility of the Summer School is under Dr. Miguel Correia, Marine Biologist, MSc Marine Resources Biology and Management, PhD Marine Ecology, Project Seahorse Research Associate, C.C.M.A.R., Fisheries Biology and Hydroecology, του πανεπιστημίου Universidade do Algarve Campus de Gambelas, Portugal, who has gained international recognition and specialization in the study of seahorses world-wide.
The Summer School is organized by the Hippocampus Marine Institute, under the guidance of the University of Portugal, Universidade do Algarve Campus de Gambelas.
The Summer School is supported by the UFR Team, NGUE and of course the local community of Stratoni.
