Hellas Gold mines have supported the study and research of the seahorses along with other parallel actions, since the beginning (2007). They supported our efforts by providing logistical help and by giving us ease of access to their infrastructure. We warmly thank the entire company’s staff starting from the management, the public relations office, the environmental department, the topographic department, the chemistry lab, the carpentry and smelter department, the rescue team and all those who have helped us along the way.
In 2016 they funded our entire efforts by providing economical and logistical support.
Again in 2017 they funded our entire efforts as well as providing economical support for the production of a complete, hourly documentary, co produced by COSMOTE TV, which is under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and the Central Macedonia Region.
Finally, in 2014 they funded a research project dealing with the wider area of Aristoteli’s prefecture and its cultural footprint.
